Don’t want to test your luck in the Haunted Forest? Check out the Ghoul Garden located by the foxes or stop by the Laboratory for a fun, gooey, hands-on experience! (Not to worry parents, there will be a clean-up station available.) And of course, there will be plenty of time to view the animals! Knowledgeable volunteers will be present throughout the sanctuary to tell you all about our residents and answer any questions you may have.

Themed crafts will be offered under the main tent for kids to create and take home with them! Try out games like Guess the Number of Eyeballs in the Jar and you may win a family pass to the sanctuary! As you exit, all kids will receive a bag of candy to take home! Great for all ages, our Halloween Haunted Forest is sure to thrill you!

Costumes are encouraged, but not required. The Costume Contest will take place on Sunday, October 16th at 3:00 PM. The winner will receive a 6-Visit Pass to the sanctuary!

Although reservations are not required, we strongly suggest purchasing your tickets in advance to avoid waiting in line.

Roar ‘n Snore Fall 2016

This event has a limited number of campsites. You must register in advance.

Join us this November for an unforgettable camping experience! The Roar ‘n Snore is the perfect way to start your Thanksgiving holiday. Where else can you sleep under the stars and listen to the unique sounds of big cats – lions, tigers, leopards, and more. The Roar ‘n Snore offers a great opportunity to spend time at the ranch in a much smaller, more personalized group.

Your admission includes a campsite in our field by the enclosures of our tigers and lions*, dinner Saturday evening, a Night Feeding tour, an all-night bonfire (with s’mores!), and breakfast Sunday morning. You must bring your own camping equipment; we do not have any for rent. Coolers with drinks and snacks are permitted – Alcohol is prohibited. All coolers are subject to inspection.

Additional snacks, drinks (sodas & water) and souvenirs will be available the day of the event for purchase (cash, check, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa are accepted forms of payments at the ranch).

When
Saturday, November 19, 2016 – Check-in begins at 3:00p.m.

through Sunday, November 20, 2016 – Check-out ends at 11:00a.m.

Your Campsite
You will receive a map of our campgrounds via email within 48 hours. This email is separate from your PDF tickets. After receiving the map, please respond to jordan@cattyshack.com with your top three choices for campsites. Sites will be given out according to response date. *Campsites are selected based on date of registration. Campsite map will be provided after registration.

FAQ

  1. How do I register? Registration is available by clicking the orange button above.
  2. I’m having problems registering online. What do I do? Email webmaster@cattyshack.com.
  3. What happens if the event is canceled? We do not cancel events except for extreme conditions (ie: hurricanes) OR if we do not have enough campsites reserved. If Catty Shack cancels the event, everyone will receive FULL refund, including their deposits.
  4. Is there a limit to how many people can be on a campsite? Currently, no. However, please be aware of the number within your party and if you will all be able to sleep comfortably.
  5. I’m vegetarian – do you have a dinner option for me? Yes! Please make sure to mark your meal preference during check-out for each of your campers. We will have a meat option and a vegetarian option.
  6. Can I bring my own snacks? Yes. However, DO NOT bring any alcohol. This is a family friendly event. All coolers are subject to inspection.
  7. Do you have a bathroom? We have port-o-lets available on site.
  8. Is there an alternate payment method instead of paying online? Yes. Please e-mail webmaster@cattyshack.com for more information.

Camping Rules

This is a family friendly event. Your cooperation will help us keep it a family friendly experience. The Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary reserves the right to REMOVE any guest(s) without refund of any admission fees who do not follow these rules and/or endanger any animal and/or other guests with their actions.

  1. Tent Camping only. No motor homes, no pull campers, no fifth wheels allowed.
  2. No Smoking, No Alcohol, No Illegal Drugs, No Fireworks, and No Firearms are allowed on the grounds.
  3. No individual fires allowed.
  4. No pets allowed. Service dogs are permitted.
  5. No radios, No TV, and No loud music allowed.
  6. No swearing or obscene language or behavior.
  7. No individual grilling / no individual BBQ allowed.
  8. Be respectful of your fellow camper’s privacy.
  9. Be respectful of our sanctuary – please deposit garbage in the garbage receptacles and plastic bottles and cans in recycling receptacles.
  10. In order to ensure the safety of our guests and our animal residents, the general public entrance gates will be locked at 8:00 PM as well as our internal sanctuary gates. Once inside the sanctuary, you will not be allowed to go back to your parked cars until Sunday morning or unless escorted by a volunteer.
  11. Be respectful of the volunteers of The Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary, Inc. They are here to ensure everyone and our residents are safe and everyone has a good time.
  12. All children MUST be under adult supervision at all times, no running, taunting or teasing the animals.
