From all our residents and volunteers, we hope every one had a wonderful time spending this Thanksgiving with family & friends! As we get ready to fight the crowds for all the “Black Friday” doorbuster deals, make sure you take time to remember what you are thankful for.
This year has been filled with some surprising and exciting times for Catty Shack – and we are grateful for every one of them! Here are a few things we’re thankful for:
- Our residents that we were able to rehome this year: Jade, Cayenne, Nikki, Misha, Amara, Sheba, & Van Gogh.
- The increased support from the Jacksonville community and beyond towards our ranch, especially the visitors on the days we are open, more school/student groups joining us for field trips/educational tours, and our out-of-town supporters (we even have visitors coming from overseas!)
- All of our volunteers, including the ones that have just joined our team and the volunteers who have been working almost since the beginning.
- The ability to be looking at larger properties in the Jacksonville area, allowing the possibility for a larger area for habitats and educational experiences at Catty Shack.
Now that we’ve shared what we’re grateful for, what are you thankful for during this past year?
