Cubs Picture Update

We know everyone’s just as excited as we are about our new residents, so here’s some cute photos of the new cubs! We’ll have some pictures of Sprout, Star & Runty later this weekend!

Wakey, wakey! The cubs like to make a lot of meows and yowls, just like they would do for mom!

Here’s a picture of one of them getting weighed! 12 pounds! Can you imagine…full grown, the male tigers could weigh up to 600 pounds!

And after a bit of playing, all cubs need a little nap…

Thank you! They certainly are cute (and lot of work, but it’s all worth it!)

Since you would like to volunteer, we ask you to attend a volunteer meeting. The next one is Thursday, February 7 at 7:00 PM (at the ranch). You must be at least 18 years old (or, if you are doing “school community service hours,” you may be 16 if you are accompanied by an adult at all times). To be an active volunteer, you must volunteer at least four hours each month. At the meeting, please bring a completed volunteer form, a valid driver’s licence or ID, and $20 (for your shirt & ID badge, which you will receive after volunteering 3 times). You can get more information, along with the volunteer forms on our website at:!

We always need volunteers, and we appreciate every one of them! Volunteers help us with a variety of things, such as cleaning habitats, landscaping, packing meat, tour guides (once trained), working at our thrift store, and much more! While you certainly can see all the animals, volunteers are always safely behind fencing. Also, for the health and safety of our cubs, only our most experienced volunteers are helping to care for them – but you’ll still get to see them when helping out during events!

We look forward to having you on the team. Please let me know if you have any questions.
